Here's Part One of my Hero's Fanfic, REVELATIONS. ENJOY!!!

Title: Revelations
Author: Luveli
Disclaimer: I own nothing and all characters herein belong to Perry Moore
Fandom: Hero by Perry Moore
Author's Note: Um, so yea, probably the worst HERO fanfic writer ever, but I thought I might as well share.

The ball left my hands with a final push, sailing toward the net, and with a final swish in the basket, I had come out victorious. I sighed gratefully, finally feeling the burn in my lungs and the sweat dripping down my face.

Goran leaned over, hands on his knees as he caught his breath.

"You win today Thom," he said, his voice carrying a challenge. I nodded. The air between us was thick with competition and silence. It reminded me of when we had first begun practicing together. And then Goran smiled.

"It was a good game. You're getting better," he said. I smiled back, blushing. There was no way I could not feel humbled by that compliment. We walked to where our Nike bags lay and picked them up so we could head back to my house.

"Does Andro need to be picked up?" I asked, looking at Goran as we walked down the street.

"Not for another hour and a half. His karate sessions are longer now. He'll be a black belt soon. He's so excited," he said of his little brother. I'd been seeing a lot of the two Croatians since our saving the world. It was nice to have them around when we weren't fighting intergalactic space pirates looking to pillage the Earth.

Passing onto one of the less crowded roads, Goran took my hand and twined his fingers into mine. I squeezed and smiled. It felt good to be close to him. I'd never really experienced anything like this before.

"I have a question to ask you," I said as we were half way down my street. Goran rubbed his thumb against the back of my hand. It was relaxing. I hadn't realized how tense I was.

"Yes?" he said.

"Um, would you and Andro, um, be at all interested, and I understand if you wouldn't be, but uh, would you want to move in with me? I have enough room, Andro can have the spare room and I'll have my parents' old room and you can have my room and we both would have more company and wouldn't be alone but, you know..." I didn't get too finish as Goran started speaking.

"Thom; relax. We'd love to," Goran said simply. I blinked; dumbfounded. Goran smiled at me, his eyes glistening and it was hard to associate the young, handsome man in front of me with Dark Hero.

"Uhhh...awesome!" I said, feeling my face heat up. Goran chuckled and shook his head.

"When would be a good time for you for us to move in?" he asked. I thought. I really had no idea how long it took to move.

"A month from now?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.

"Sure. Andro and I don't have too many things," he said. I could feel my face getting redder and used searching for my key in my bag as an excuse to hide my face. I could feel his smiling eyes on me.

I opened the door and we both stepped in. It was cool inside; the light coming in through the window was reddish orange from the setting sun.

We both passed into the kitchen and I passed him a drink from the fridge.

"Have you been in touch with Scarlett and Kevin?" Goran asked as he sat down at the kitchen table. I sat on the counter top and nodded.

"A few days ago. Scarlett is doing well, she's due any day now," I said. Goran nodded.

"I was thinking of having a barbecue when the baby's born, but I need to clean out some stuff first," I said, looking away from Goran's face and taking a sip of water.

"If you need help, I'd be happy to assist," he said. I nodded and looked at my sneakers. Id delayed for a long time about doing anything with my parents' things; it was about time I did something. I couldn't throw them away, but putting them in storage would be much better. With Goran and Andro moving in, it was a good catalyst to finally get my procrastinating butt into high gear.

When I looked up, Goran was in front of me, looking at me intensely. I jumped. Then his eyes relaxed along with his face. He brushed my sweaty hair out of my eyes a little and then traced his finger down my face to curl under my chin.

"I'm here," he said. I looked at him; studying his olive complexion, darkened because of the hours spent in the sun; his dark, endless eyes and long, dark lashes that bordered them; the curve and shape of his mouth and cheek bones.

He leaned forward and kissed me gently. His lips were soft and felt good against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck. One of his hands rested on the back of my head and the other on my cheek.

He gently parted my lips with his tongue and a battle of wills began. I ventured nibbling at his lip and warmed when he pushed my head forward to press our lips tighter together.

We finally parted, slightly breathless. He kissed my forehead and then turned to look at the clock.

"I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow," he said. I nodded, afraid to stand up or say anything. He smiled at me.

"Don't worry, I'll show myself out."

By the way, thanks for helping me with the cuts guys!!!! ^_^

hi, from perry
Hi, profiterole,

I actually love the fanfics. how do we get more of them?

And you better believe I test these two, their love, more than you could possibly imagine in the sequel.

Hope to enthrall you and make you proud.

And pray for Goran and Thom to survive the challenges. They will be overwhelming. Their love is so strong, but strong enough?

I, like you, hope so.

We'll have to see what they tell me.

And I've been going through the wringer lately. Harder and harder to make a living writing books, and this (writing Thom and Goran) is all i want to do. So save a little prayer in there for me somewhere.

Thanks for keeping me inspired.

All my best,

A great start to what I'm sure will be an amazing story! These guys need more writers like you! *goes back to lurking*

your picture!
Your picture, grimcognito--that panel of The Authority inspired me so much.

I wish more than anything I could write and direct the movie version.

How do we get a movement going?

Your friend,

Perry Moore

Re: your picture!
Thanks! It's one of my all-time favorite comic moments. Right up there with my Enigma book, which if you haven't read before, is beyond amazing (even if the art takes a little while to get used to.) Check it out:

Re: your picture!
I loved Enigma, too. That one shot of them lying together in bed, one leg draped over Enigma's body. That's such a loving position, and the best part of...intimate happenings. Being gay, my first experiences were of shame after a hook up.

The first person who said, stop. stay. let's hold each other. That Enigma picture truly tells a thousand words.

As does that panel in the Authority. MY all-time favorite too!

I really think about this stuff when I imagine Thom and Goran.

Anyone else have X-Men or other comic book panels that have resonated and stuck with you over the years.

would love to have these panels re-printed on this thread. So inspirational!

Re: your picture!
This one:

I've been a huge fan of Shatterstar and Rictor, and I hated that their relatioship never progressed in the beginning of the series. So to see it finally happen, I literally shouted in joy. (Though I will forever miss Shatterstar's hair.)

Hi there,
Love your fanfic.

Please let me know what that music you mention is and where do I get it?

Re: what's that music?
Hello Mr. Moore,
I am extremely humbled to find that you enjoyed my writing. It's really nothing compared to yours...just something I wanted to write to get out of my mind and into words. The music is from the Pride & Prejudice (2005) soundtrack, if that's the music you are referring to. I hope that helps...and thank you so much! ^_^

hi there
Dear Impaledhaji,

I enjoyed this fanfic as well.

I would like for you to write me most of all. I know you think the end of the "book was...cute, but..." I'm always interested in feedback, to make things better and better! Hope you like the next book's ending even better!!!

Re: hi there
-Is having a slightly hysterical moment.-
I really like the thought of authors getting out there and seeing what their readers think through real-life things. Well, as real as fanfiction can be. :)

Anyway, the book was astounding, and I am so excited to hear of a sequel. I enjoy writing so much, and I know that I personally get better every time so I can only imagine what glorious plot you shall produce.

The ending was supremely cute, but I was hoping for a kiss (Since I had no idea of a sequel- which IM SO EXCITED FOR) I wanted to know a little more about the after math, and how it effected Goran and Thom, and how the people around them felt. To be totally honest the ending was a little to happy- as in I know that being a homosexual is not excepted by a large amount of people. And I haven't seen how Goran personally deals with it.

Just as a last note- the television show looks oh so promising, especially with the main character being gay!

Well, now that I'm done fangirling I thank you for your work- and being able to put a novel like this on book shelves. I've recommended it to friends (boys, girls, straight, gay) and they love it too.

Thanks so much,
